This film explores the space between different people. In a society we mostly live with others (parents, roommates, partners), but how do we define our own space and how do we share and keep it? How do we let people in our space for the first time? In other words, how do we experience "our" space, vital space. Vital space: considers the space in which only close relations and friends can enter. Otherwise we feel uncomfortable and violated. This project is a combination of narrative and abstract. Some visual references will be shared and developed through the process. Meetings, separations, encounters will be expressed through four different social settings. This will be shown through the camera work and the dancer/choreographer position.

The film follows the main dancer, as she shares her space with different people in her life. There will be four main scenes:

- family
- significant other

- work environment

- common area

This piece mostly focuses on personal space. Transitions between scenes are being initiated by movement, and by introducing a new character. The music is composed and tailored for this film to help separating each new space from the others.
